First, we have extensive training on your solutions and business models. Then, we identify and make a detailed list of all the potential partners we can find in the targeted country. We submit and discuss this list of potential partners with you.
You rank and define the priority targets on our list. We approach them individually and qualify them. We introduce your products or services to them. We make sure they are interesting for you and that they are interested in your solutions.
After delivering a report on each qualified potential partner, you confirm with us the targets you want to meet. We set up a schedule of meetings for you with the potential partners you selected. There is no predetermined price for this service. From our experience, it mostly varies between 8,000 to 9,000 CHF.
Before starting to work together, we provide a quotation with a firm price based upon the time needed and costs involved to achieve the mission.
There are two main factors to consider: the cost of doing the distributor search by yourself and the cost of selecting the wrong partner.
Let’s consider your employee is doing the search. When you add the gross salary spent for an employee identifying targets, and the cost of a first trip in the country to explore the market (gross salary, tickets, hotels, trips…), then the extra time spent to qualify the targets and finally another trip to meet them for a second time. There are chances it will cost you a lot of money. Meanwhile, your employee is not working on his other assignments, usually generating revenues for you from established markets.
Now, even if you selected a partner in less time and with fewer costs. If you do not have a clear benchmark, how do you know they are the best? Even worse, what if it is not a good partner and you have to do a second distributor search? You can easily multiply your initial costs by two without even considering the damages the first partner you started to work with has done to your brand.
No, we do not.
When we do a distributor search, we do not want to work on a commission basis. We deliver a specific service and we get paid for the time and effort we put into it.
No, we do not, and for two simple reasons:
Our payment terms are usually 50% advance payment and 50% when we put together the schedule of meetings. If we notice there are no partners interested, we can always find an arrangement during the mission.
Our promise to our clients is to use all our efforts to find partners to the best of our ability.
